I hope most of you remember five years ago today (July 4th) when Google replaced Inktomi to serve secondary search results at Yahoo!. How many of us predicted then that Google would be as huge today, and paving the landscape of search? It is incredible what can happen in just five years.

Happy Anniversary Google and much thanks to the killer party you threw for us! I have already sent over six figures in Google AdWords since the Canal Street Conference as a "thank you". More to come.

I liked Google from the start, but I really didn't think they would have gotten this big in the last 5 years.

But their search engine sure has treated me great.
