I remember seeing some guidance on the % limit of outbound links recommended on a page (but can't track it down).

I think the general guidance was keep outbounds to less than 50%.

Is this still recommended as the limit and does anyone have any documentation or direct experience of this? e.g. did some of your pages have more outbounds, and reducing them improved traffic through that page. Maybe dropping below the 50% even moved the page out of supplemental index.

Another thought. What happens if you pass links through a tracking script so that the link is still on site but then redirects to an offsite page?

Thanks for your help.
