with Mozilla 5.0

I'm sure this is old news, but for some time now a small proportion of my Googlebot/2.1 log entries have read: "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)". The IP address indicates the access does indeed originate from Google.

What's the significance of this? Googlebot *and* Mozilla/5.0?

Both with a normal search, and then restricting it to my domain give back the same results listed as Supplemental Results with titles and snippits.

Dijkgraaf: did you do:

site:your-site.tld, or
keyword1 keyword2 site:your-site.tld

The first gives me mostly URL-only, whilst the second gives snippet+desc.

site:my-site.tld or site:www.my-site.tld will give me 27,600 reults, lots of them supplemental resuts, with titles and snippets.
