Search terms and websites associated with the campaign like: 'make poverty history' and 'one' and 'white band' are getting mega search engine traffic as a result of the world wide TV and advertising campaign and mega links too.
So what happens to websites in search results when mega exposure offline prompts mega linking and mega traffic?
There are issues of duplicate penalties as each country has it's own somewhat different website.
There are issues of gaining tons of links really quickly.
There are issues of how the results differ on Google UK Google us Google Australia etc etc
There are issues with how different search engines handle the associated queries (of course though, most importantly Google).
