Is there any kind of evidence that fully text based sites rank lower when compared to sites that have some graphical images (eg site logo etc)?
Thank you

A FEW all-text pages might even rate higher since images aren't eating up real estate, leaving room for more text. I never heard of a penalty for no images. -Larry

On the contrary, my xhtml/css site ranks higher more easily than my other heavy <font>, <table>, <img> sites.
