I just noticed this today, if you login to gmail and then navigate to googles home page you get the following links in the upper right of the page:
XXX@gmail.com ¦ Personalized Home ¦ My Account ¦ Sign out
It looks like one more step in turning Google into a portal.
I have not seen this anywhere else, so apologies if it is a double post.

Yes, Google is now allowing you to save your searches and that feature is available in the personalised Google.
Since you are logged in to a Google account, they are offering you this menu option.

... as well as a date stamp telling what date you clicked on a certain url in the SERPs.
That one gave me quite a shock acutally.

Just wanted to mention about "drag & drop" feature of Google's personal home page. Looks cool, a web page made similar to an application. Easily drag a box (Weather etc.) and drop it wherever you'd like! [google.com...]
