The weather for my area has been disgustingly inaccurate in the two weeks I've patronized Google's new homepage. Google has forecast thunder and lightning 10 times and we've only had it twice, and not on the days forecast. Actually, the last time it actually thundered here Google had the current weather marked "mostly sunny", while outside we experienced torrential rain and gale-force winds. Perhaps weather on the East coast is slightly unpredictable, but I'd like to know where Google gets its meteorological data (another problem I have with the service; the source isn't cited), because it is a lot less accurate than other weather forecasts, moreover, it seems altogether free from the limitations of actuality.
They are really for amusement only so if you need a weather forecast I suggest that you watch TV :)

A couple of weeks ago I checked the forecast for my location in the UK from about five different sources and they were all different and in some cases completely different.
They have to be different, otherwise they get slapped with a duplicate content penalty ;-)
