Google has numerous data centers, it is possible that you hit one with old data.

does anybody know what are the datacenters of google directories so i can check them out? I know about datacenters but this google directory thing confuses me. I go to google directory find it updated then I refresh the page i get old data then refresh again and have the new data and so on. This is strange since it never happened with me before.

Thanks for your reply.

Just insert the datacenter IP where directory.google.com goes.

The differences between datacenters means nothing, just some are updated but not all.

I've seen an updated version on some DCs since the end of May. Although some here challenged that this was an old version it was not.

I reported some bad players (redirects) in my category and the editors were nice enough to nuke about 10 listings out of around 40 - this was about 2 months ago.

I've seen the updated version(30 listings) a couple of times after Bourbon... I'm not sure why the update never populated to other DCs. You're not imagining things.

Just check your keywords and the position of your site from here: www.void.be/googletool.html.
Though this tool doesn't represent all google's datacenters (about 60%) you still can get quite objective picture.
