After the latest update, I found that many of my pages that don't have outbound links with "their" keywords get hammered.

Pages which had outbound links featuring the pages keywords, remained stable.

Are you seeing the same?

That's pages with outbound links and not sites with outbound links?

In my opinion, careful analysis of page outbounds may be a future of Google. I can imagine ways to distinguish spam/scrap/affiliate sites from quality sites by their outbounds, so there is no doubt Google specialists can do it as well.

I've been noticing boosting ranks because of outbounds for months, so I'm not surprised by your observations. And as Google works on URL basis, I expect this works on URL basis as well.

Still, I wonder how much outbound anchor text is important. On one of my sites, on subitem pages I have not linked text "Official site about this item:" and then linked "http://www.the_site.com/" because it was the way I found best for my users, but maybe it would rank well if I linked both.

Can you post the number of outbound links and internal links per page which exist on few of those pages which remained stable.

Thanks.
