Just thought I would run this by you guys.

If I create my whole website with the domain name example.com which is ranked in the 200's on alexa. example is a free service. Will this help me get higher page rank since the domain name is ranked so high. I see example.com in a lot of high search results in yahoo from people that make crappy pages.

Thanks,

Kevin

Not at all.

PR doesn't depend on the ranking of the host provider (fortunately!...).

Moreover, the site you report hasn't good PR on Google.

The best way as always,is to get good quality inbound links.

STeer clear of hosting on free space.

You will regret it if you want to move to a domain of your choice and it screams of a poor site that isn't even considered important enough by the owner to stump up a few dollars for hosting.

Remember that pagerank (or what's left of it given the recent dissapearance of it) is not called siterank, it deals with page importance.
