I run a popular weblog on typepad who's domain is widget.typepad.com. My goal is to become just widget.com. Typepad maps a domain using a CNAME change. As a result, all new links and old links still be available through both widget.typepad.com and www.widget.com? My question is, how will this affect my pagerank and serp results? Will widget.com inherit widget.typepad.com's pagerank and serps? I've wanted to change for a year now, but I haven't because of these issues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
