last year I had one of my website banned; it was a clean site but it had a subdomains with some dirty tricks, and I got punished (rightly!)
Google banned entirely the dirty subdomain, and all the other 6 clean subdomains and the main domain.
It was/is a content website with our hand edited clean content about love quotes.
I wrote to google after I removed the dirty contents; but no response except the standard response. I wrote again and again and I received a not automated response where they said that they had passed my inquiry to engineers.
After 2,3 months (end of last year) all the pages of main domains and subdomains (except all the homepages of each subdomain and main domain) appeared with site:mydomain.com
After 2,3 months disappeared the subpages of just main domains; today reappeared

At the moment the traffic is very very low; googlebot makes 10/15 hits per month (maybe one for each homepage) but mediapartners come one my site (I've not adsense...) and the indexed pages have fresh dates (some days ago).

Do you know what is happening? my site is clear for a year now...

What can I do to have my homepages indexed and have removed the penalty? It seems useless to write to webmaster@google.com...
