Can anybody explain what a unique ip address is.
How can I get one?, will it affect my current Listings?

My current web hosting is with yahoo samll business.
I have 4 sites hosted there, my seo guy says this may be hurting me.

A unique IP address is simply an IP address that is unique to your web site.

If you are sharing a single IP address with other sites (in your case, your own three sites and probably a large number of other Yahoo! Small Business Sites)

To get a unique IP address, you will need to change your hosting provider to one that doesn't share its IP addresses amongst lots of different sites. This will cost you more money.

Or you could ask your host to put you on seperate IP C Class ranges....if they have them.

Or you could just switch each site to a seperate host... the sites woul;d still be on a shared IP but would no longer be within the same range...this could save you some cash.

hope this helps.
