Site goes live.
Aggressive backlink building (I know this is probably not the best strategy).
Site gets indexed relatively quickly (first few pages in a day or so and the rest in under two weeks), traffic slowly increases.
site: command starts showing way more pages than there actually are - 2 to 4 times as many pages.
Traffic skyrockets.
Start to get urls only showing in serps (no title or description), with a greater and greater proportion of pages showing this behaviour.
Site gets banned.
Has anyone else observed this pattern?
