Well, here comes a point in man's life, when it is time to ask a question - is Google getting it?

We have 7 sites, all content, 3 years to 3 months old. NONE of them are in Google. Our largest and oldest content site, clean backlinks, mount of work, top of the category, just disappeared from SERPs.

I now firmly believe that Google made content sites obsolete - darn, it took 7 tries to conclude this. Sworms of "directory", link and affiliate sites choke it to the point of unusable (Altavista), or do you guys actually think it'll swim?
