Hi,

We have a website where the visitor can create his own page.
We already optimized the page titles and important text stuff in h1 tags.

What can you advice more to get higher in the google search results?

Thanks in advance.

Love the title of the discussion :)

I would suggest that you read this forum four times a day for an hour each time for the next two years.

Alternatively have a look at [searchengineworld.com...]

It was the period at the end that caused the problem.

If you have many pages, each wanting traffic from low competition phrases, then I would suggest looking carefully at the title and the body text. Concentrate on the words in a phrase being together; 'blue widgets' in the title and body is better than 'widgets in blue' if people search for 'blue widgets'. Quite often for a large site such as a shop or content archive, just changing the template in the CMS or catalogue software can make a significant difference to traffic.

Also in the case of a large site, it is often worth looking at the robot accessibility. If you have large amounts of content behind JavaScript, Flash, redirects or 'dynamic' looking URLs then you might not be fully crawled.

If you want to target high competition phrases, then it's mostly about links. You want plenty of links from other sites, but even then it can take a while to see the benefits. Beware of taking shortcuts as Google penalise certain types of link building techniques.

Site Builder
26 steps to 15k a Day

What currency would that be?

Japanese Yen :)

Seriously, I think the 15K refers to the number of SE referrals per day.

Actually, I think the reference is to page views... (not uniques)
