PageRank affect SERP?

Someone said that Google PR doesn't hve effect on listinig in SERPs or very small effect. Is that true?

It still has an effect. However there are new factors such as link relevance that now come in to account.

Bear in mind that the pagerank you see in the Google toolbar is at least 6 months behind the real pagerank that Google uses.
