Has anyone here gotten Google to remove the 90-day hold on indexing pages once they were removed using the URL removal tool?

I would be interested in this too. I needed to remove some information from the google cache fast, so the quickest way I could think of was to use the URL removal tool. Now I want that page back in the SERPS!

I have achieved some success by creating a new identical page to the removed page. I then put a 301 redirect on the old page to point to the copy. I also changed all the backlinks that I had control of to point to the new copy.

This has improved the situation somewhat, but it's a far from an ideal solution.

The removal link states that the "hold" is 90 days, but the information after you log into the removal took says 6 months.

Which is correct?

Six months is more likely - I'm already waiting for five months for one of my pages to reappear :)) I hope it doesn't take longer.

I tried mailing Google about this issue, but without results.

I think they should include a tool for removing the hold in urlconsole - they'd have nothing to lose if webmasters could add and remove pages freely - if webmaster takes care to remove outdated listings or to add them again if needed, it's good for index quality, isn't it?
