I have a question and I'm sure somebody here will be able to help me:

My site was down for 4 hours on sunday, ever since then some of my pages have completely dropped out of Google, and some of them have lost the title on the links or any kind of description shown on the SERPs, all you see is the URL. But some of the other pages are showing up fine, keeping their placements as well as the titles and brief descriptions below.

How could this be possible?
Was this caused because our server was down when the googlebot was searching for some of the pages?
Or could it be something else?
What can I do to get my placements back?

Any help you can provide me will be awesome, I just keep seeing my traffic drop and need to find out what's going on soon.

Thanks!

This was caused likely by your server being down and Google trying to spider it at that time.

Googlebot likely didn't see each web page of your web site.

You will have to wait to Google comes back to spider your site again. After Google spiders your site it may take a few days or longer to show up.
