Robots meta tag and Pagerank

Seems like after the internet and search engine community has addressed the problem with blog comment spam, more and more spammers are sending their robots to sign up in regular forums because they hope that if their website shows up in many user profiles, Google will give them credit for it.

My profile pages are all "protected" via the META robots noindex tag, but with the recent increase of automated signups I get, I would like to make sure that it actually does the job. Does it - or do I have to add "nofollow" as well?
