Google site: Search Showing Other Domains

Does anyone know what the following site searches are showing?
site:yahoo.com -yahoo
site:google.com -google
site:microsoft.com -microsoft
site:google.de -google
site:blogspot.com -blogspot

The mouseover was pointing to the other domains returned yesterday it's not doing that on this machine, but the results are still curious.

What are people trying to achieve here?
