I am not sure whether a dampening factor is appied to his store for duplicate content isusse or it is just in sandbox.
One major problem with this clients is he uses yahoo merchant solutions, which has a subdomain store.example.com whose content is the same as www.example.com. Right now the urls under store.example.com seems to be partialy indexed(less than 100 urls indexed) with cache and snipets, and PR=2 is give. All urls under www.example.com has nothing but a url. One further problem is if a page can't be found within the store, it returns to the home page, however, yahoo store attaches a wired url(the store id) after the normal url, so it becomes www.example.com/yst-somenumber/index.html. and that url will propagate when another link is clicked. so the store has three versions of urls with the same content.
I called yahoo store and they told me there's nothing they can do, no 301 redirect can be applied to those store.yahoo.com to www.example.com
do you guys have an clients like that? and how did you handle such problem if you do?

Its a problem common to all Yahoo stores. One of the best fixes seems to be a coding patch in RTML that forces internal links to use the proper root domain.com.
