Incomplete URL Points to Oblivion

Is this a problem for Google?

I've just realized that some of my websites point to oblivion when the "http://www." is excluded from the url.

(eg, sitename.com points to nothing, whereas www.example.com or [example.com...] both point to, uhm, the site)

Is it possible that these sites search results could suffer due to this?
