Hide URL Java script

How does this script affect SE rankings?

I seem to have a hard time achieving good rankings on some SE's - especially google. I was wondering whether this "hide url" java script was one of the reasons?

Also - is incomming links from a site using this kind of script devalued by google?

Any thougts on this is appreciated.

Is there nobody who got any experience with HIDE URL java scripts and Google?

Playing with the window.status field is user-unfriendly but will not affect Google rankings.
