Outbound links within Noframe tag and PR inheritance

Whether pr is passed on for external links within noframe tag

I would like to clear up a discussion currently going on in my own forum (german language) regarding the way PR is passed on from links within the noframe area of a framed site. I was of the understanding that PR is passed on as it would be on an unframed site and not within noframe tag.

I knew it was passed on internally but could it be that due to the obvious abuse that could go on pr from noframe tags is not passed on to external websites?
Or is a link in a noframe tag not given any special treatment?

Quite a toughy I guess, but maybe someone has tested or has seen evidence of one or the other.

I have seen evidence now that PageRank is NOT passed on to external websites from links within the noframe tag of a frameset.

This was news to me, and imo is significant for those that advertise on framed websites and those with sister sites for example.

This is however based on the analysis of just 2 websites (sticky for anyalysis), so I'd appreciate confirmation from others.

I link from one of my sites ( PR6 ) to another one of my sites within the noframes tag.

It used to show up as a backlink, but not anymore. So I guess, that PR is also not passed on anymore.
