What is Deepbot?

I really enjoy reading the posts here, and I have learned a lot. Often times terms and names are used I don't understand - such as deepbot. Is there a web page or site with definitions and explanations of some of the terminology related to Google?

The deep bot does a deep crawl monthly and is the basis of the monthly update (google dance).

Well you might start by using the webmaster world search

[webmasterworld.com...]

to look for the word glossary which would turn up this page ont the right:

[webmasterworld.com...]

Alot of terminology to learn there.

But your search would be fruitless when you arrived, because 'deepbot' is a mixup of googlebot and freshbot, and not in the glossary.

Freshbot doesn't go deep, so googlebot, by default, is the 'deepbot'... meaning it will take many more pages, very deep into your site. Its slang really... but alot fo the terms for seo aren't official... just nicknames.
