Hello,

I am a newcomer to XML and I need to build an XML application. The application will be sort of like a forum, where members of a group update and post project objectives. The application should be able to keep track of who's making the project posts and who's modifying (delete, append et cetera) posted messages.

Problem is we already have an application setup to do that already, but the xml data is only visible on Internet Explorer 6.0+ . The source codes loads on Firefox, Opera and Safari, but the page turns up blank on these browsers. Perhaps, it is an XML data binding flaw.

I would appreciate if someone can direct me to some resources that would help me build XML applications real quick. Are there programming languages I need to learn like Java to handle tasks of this nature? I am somewhat familiar with perl/CGI. Thanks in advance! Once again, appreciate any help.

I write every feed I use with PERL. There is a book out by O'Reilly and Associates titled "Perl & XML". Go check it out at your local bookstore or online at O'reilly's website
