What Do I Do With XML Data Pulls?

My merchants' XML file will only allow me raw calls of 50 products at a time. I am still trying to figure out the "parser" thing. I have found several parser scripts, but they mostly deal with an entire XML file. My merchant has sent me a link to use for the feed, and wants me to pull data using query strings. How do I fit this into a parser?

Also, what do I do with these 50 product "sniplets" of feed once thay are parsed? Am I going to have to create 1000 pages, EACH with the raw data calls and parser on them- besides the PHP code?

I am totally lost...I am green on XML, and my merchant is only going so far to help. The merchant has over 300,000 products in this feed. :-(
