Nominet site redesign + releasing domains

Looks like Nominet have just launched a redesign of their main site. It's gone from very minimalistic google-esque to lots of fancy colourful graphics and dynamic menus.

Also, two generic one-word .co.uk domains were registered yesterday after being detagged for ages (and no, I didn't register them!).

Yes i saw it a few days ago, i don't like it, especially now the "whois" box down the page, i clicked on the "WHOIS" graphic button many times before i saw that i could scroll down the page.

i don't like it either....not easy to find the whois for a first time visitor...maybe we should all drop an email to Lesley Cowley new CEO of Nominet

Actually I like it. And short of moving the WHOIS box further up the page, I don't think it could be much clearer. I think I might drop Lesley a line to congratulate her! 2 to 1 against!
