Problems with a .us registrar

I am currently trying to resolve a billing issue with Domain Support Group. They called me in October representing themselves as working with VeriSign, and told me that I needed to register a .us domain name to keep my web presence. I agreed to a 1 year registration, but was billed for 10 years ($210)
I'd appreciate any information from anyone who has dealt with this company.
Thanks :-)

CBudelier, Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

To bad to here, try doing a search for the company name on google, it looks like you are not the only one that have been scammed by this company, suggest reading all the different posts/pages made about how they scam people, and you might find something that helps, i am sorry to say that i believe there is a very little chance that you will get your money back (as it is with most scams :( )

Welcome to Webmaster World!

I would probably dispute the CC bill BUT accept a one year charge as you did agree. It seems from your post that your beef is with the 10 year charge.

Just my .02,

Brian
