How to perform check on old IP address?

Is there a database somewhere that contains the previous IP address for a site that has changed to new IP new address sometime in the last year? The webmaster should have this information, I understand, but there is some sleuthing here, for a good cause.

It depends on how old the IP is... I think I have an old copy of all the IPs sitting in one of my databases. What date range are you looking for?

At this moment, I can only narrow it down from the start of the calendar year for 2002. At the smallest range, the IP address would have been active from around March of this year. The change would have been after that.

Ahem. Having a database like this conjures images like the last scene of the Indiana Jones first movie, where all those crates and more crates are in a government warehouse, somewhere... You have such wonders?
