Is there better pricing out there?$?$?$?

I have a couple of domain names (.ca) that I am looking to renew. The latest e-mail offering renewal is priced at:

.CA Renewal Plans($CDN)
1 Year Renewal - $32.95 + Tax
2 Year Renewal - $62.59 + Tax 5% discount/year
5 Year Renewal - $148.29 + Tax 10% discount/year

This is a bit steep considering I believe that I was paying less than $20 per year for a year at a time in days gone by.

Does anyone know a less expensive Canadian registrar? Especially one with good hosting options?

Yup, they are $32.95 per year. Only $19.95 in the first year but there after, $32.95 (Ouch).

Okay Fathom, I wasn't going to say this but, "I am cheap!"

I looked at the increase in rates and thought $0.054 cents per day is better!

Just got finished purchasing 52 domains for a single website infrastructure.

I had no sympathy :)

I've checked a few out on the web and they all seem to be at the same pricing, cheap enter and expensive thereafter.

Have any of them justified the increase?
