I moved my site to a new host and made the DNS change Sunday about noon. Starting Monday I could see from the logs on the new host that the DNS change was starting. However, it is now Wednesday and I still cannot get to the new host except by using the IP. Checking my log files, on the old host, I see that only my IP and inktomi are still going to the old site.
I cannot get my email program set up to download because it goes to the old site. I don't expect any help from the old host - the main reason I moved - so is there anything I can do?
My ISP tells me they are waiting for the TTL to run out, but that doesn't seem logical - even googlebot and scooter are at the new host since early yesterday.
I've cleaned the cache for all browsers, including manually aout 20 times now. Am I just stuck until .....

There are still ISP's who don't have a redundant connection without service (well, as of last night there were still some). I've got one site and an e-mail address that runs intermittantly - usually the problems are at night while they're playing with things and trying to figure out what the heck happened over at Lucent, I'd guess.
I'm not sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if this is something that could be making the propogation take even longer than normal - at least to some parts. Worldcom has 70% of the internet traffic on them and there's a bucnh of stuff taking a long time to find its way through the mess.
