Will my name still keep the original registrar?

Though I've been doing web design for awhile, I'm new to all the domain name buying/selling stuff, so I have a pretty basic question (sorry!). I registered a name w/Verisign, but was going to try selling it at GreatDomains. I was going to use the free parking, etc. Even if I use their services, my name will still be registered w/Verisign, right? I will still be able to renew it with Verisign if it doesn't sell, right?
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something foolish by transferring the DNS, etc.
Thanks in advance! This place is a great learning tool!

I don't actually know the answer to this question but as nobody else as replied I would say be careful. If you change the DNS and anthing else I don't see how you would still be able to control it through verisign.

As I say it depends on the process but free parking suggests to me you would be handing over control to this new registrar.

If all you changed was the DNS and none of the other registration info you'll be fine. DNS information does not have anything to do with ownership. Are you still the Admin contact for the domain? If so you're fine.

Well, didn't do it yet, but won't change anything else except the DNS. Just wanted to make sure -
thanks!
