help...
two years ago (in a couple months) i bought my first url... (now my company name) and i used an email address that i no longer have... in my whois info iboost is noted as support contact, but their phone number is not in order? i've try'd to contact them... and i am concerned that when my url comes up for renewal i won't be able to get it? worse, if someone else goes after it i'd be really disapointed...
any and all info would be greatly appreciated... thanks! :D

Is your company name a trade mark? if so you can force iboost to untag the domain and alow you to re-register it. So long as the domain name is not generic is is possible to have the TM registered.

Is it the domain in your profile? It looks like you are still listed as the Administrative Contact. It also looks like you registered the domain through register.com? Is this the case? If so, contact the registrar and login to your account and make the appropriate changes. If you need some more help, sticky mail me and I'll see what I can do.

In the meantime, why not re-sign up for the same e-mail account. It might prove to be easier.

You Renew your domain name with the same registrar but not same reseller ( iboost ).
If you renew your domain name through the different reseller of the same registrar the registrar does not ask you for confirmation unless you change your details. Of course once you renew you can change your details through the control panels where you can change the details.

excellent comments both of you...
thanks again for the input...
i just got off the phone with a wonderful rep at register.com and i think that my address has been changed.
i thought it would be as easy as changing my generic address to an email address that contained my domain name... ;) naw, that didn't work... but i'm off to whois to see if it's updated, i'll keep you all posted! :D
