what's your opinion on unsolicted domain sales?

how would you feel about receiving an unsolicited email offering a domain name that is the exact match of the keywords you've bid on at overture?

for example, you've bid $0.15 for the keywords "cheapest **** prices" and i'm offering "cheapest****prices.com" for sale.

tho technically it's spam, would you appreciate getting such an email or not? and how would you react?

Can't speak for anyone else, but I would be as (un)impressed as with any other spam.

I regularly get mail to all my domains notifying me that the .biz or .net or .whatever version of that domain is available. Well duh. If I'da wanted it, I'da gone out and bought it.

I would be very annoyed at such an email.

bad enough deleting the porn, get rich quick schemes without someone telling me what domain I should or should not have.

Selling domains via spam. uh, let me think about that..... BAD IDEA.

Bulk mail is bad. Hand select a few targets and craft the email for them if you really want to.
