VeriSign, the world's leading provider of trust services :), signs deal with 24/7 Mail to provide email addresses of "B2B and consumer[s]". The press release [biz.yahoo.com] says
This is possible because VeriSign is the gateway for establishing an online identity and Web presence, with more than 13.6 million active domain names in .com, .net, .org, .tv, .cc, and .ws.

Interesting... but not for the spamming thing. They have been selling lists for years. I am more interested in their quote, "13.6 million active domain names in .com, .net, .org, .tv, .cc, and .ws".

Now I start to deduce.... in this thread [webmasterworld.com].
