Hello , has anybody noted ?? enom is offering nameonly pricing $5.99 per domain ( $495 min deposit ). Considering the wholesale pricing of $6 to be given to icann , is enom at a loss just to survive this competative market ??

Nameonly means no control. You just own the name. That means they can collect the ad revenue from visitors to your site and make up the difference.
