Hi, my website is running on win2k pro, because we are using asp pages. Now i noticed that some search engines seem to rank sites about for example: cars ,higher, when its in the url (like www.cars.com). so i thought lets get a subdomain for higher ranking, but my provider says it cant be done on win2k pro ?!, ive looked to several documents on the web, and it seems true , but only for the pro version ?, can anyone (please) tell me different ?!

I work with a windows2k network. It is true for the initial setup of win2k pro. However, you can get a DNS addon to add a few functions. I'm afriad you will have to go through the microsoft site to find it though.
