I'm from asia & want to fax to verisign=netsol ? to release a domain in which a bad competitor don't want to release a client domain fo ours that we resigned from them. the registrant is under the client while the admin is theirs(competitor) how should i phrase it & how long will it take for them to do the necessay changes if released from this part of the world ? thanks

Sounds like you have a hard task infront of you. Dealing with Verisign's frontline is like watching someone scrap their nails on a chalk board. My advise is expect delays of up to two weeks. If I had a solution to NetSol I would be a very rich person.
The only thing that may help you is trying getting as high as possible. Ask for a supervisor and stuff like that.
The fax is standard and means you are on the right path.

I had to do the same thing about two months ago. After talking with the folks at Verisign to find out the correct procedure(and was surprised that I was not on hold forever) I got a NIC number by filling in the on-line form and then faxed a letter, on the client's letterhead referrring to the NIC number and stating the reason for the change. I followed up with a phone call three days after the letter was faxed and the change was made immediately.
