Just out of idle curiosity, has anyone here gotten a .name (or know of anyone) domain yet?

Rumbas I believe their out there :) But Im talken about doing a search and finding it as a top result. (: albert.einstein. should be showing up at the top for that man, but i dont see it :o

I have had a .name site up for over a month now..
pretty crappy at this point...havent had time to fully develop it.

(I added it in my profile)

As you can see,
[inventory.overture.com...]

the search phrase "baby name" is searched for about 600,000 times a month just from overture! So I have an excellent market .

The .names will have limited appeal..I believed I have probably come as close to identifying one of the few markets for .name

Personally .name is pretty lame..
but who knows..I picked up 2 I can use anyways .. and if .Name is ever fully marketed then we have some added value to the names..

My .name is already taken, but I don't care cos I've already got www.myname.com :)

I think a .com is best. Even for non-commercial sites. Even for non-American sites. It's the big one, the one with respect. You can't beat .com (IMHO).
