Sometime's stupid people e-mail editors making something such a huge deal and because the editors arnt tech savvy they do not understand what a registrar is and how there are temp pages while hostnames are setup on other servers to deal with webhosting. Hey they got some media attention though. I think all tech people know the article was dead stupid.
