Weight of .US, What will happen

Will the name.city.state.us weight more than name.US?

I have a few .US domains that are in the structure of name.lake-forest.ca.us but with the roll out of anyone being able .US domain names, like company.us will the structured domains weight more or less in the search engines. In the past havnt .US domains weighed more for search engines since it was usually state information?

This is a future problem not a current problem. There is no way to tell how search engines will handle this when that day comes. They could ignore the problem or they could install a filter for .XX.US. Then they can weed out the second level domains that have state abbreviations. I think relevancy engines like Google will downgrade the value of .US and make it the same as .COM. However, Google thinks sub-domains are part of the main domain.... So who knows how it will play out. I guess we have to wait and see.
