expired domain

Has anyone any suggesting for me about what to do with expired domain name that I bought and has a good traffic and also it is related to your own website ?But i can not built anything on this website riht now and if I keep and do nothing would my ranking change?Is there anyway that I can only use domain name and it's traffic to support my own website?

I would use it ASAP. Place a small website on that domain. Place content on that site which people are looking for. At the same time you can place a link on that site to yours. But don't make your site a simple doorway. That could be bad news. There could be some penalities on your linking like this. I would go check out the Google forum for more information on how to link.
