60 day wait - but I didn't have to before. What's up?

2 weeks ago I bought 2 domain names on <a registrar>. I then transfered the first 1 to bluehost - no problem. But when I tried to transfer the 2nd, they said I had to wait 60 days. I know about that rule - but why was I able to get away with the 1st no problem?

Questions about the service policies or practices of a registrar are best addressed to the registrar. It's their policies and practices that you are questioning and who better to explain why or how they are applied?

In you case there appears to have been an exception to a rule. Maybe they made a mistake? Maybe some other small fact controlled the exception.
