Network Solutions FAQ is very helpful, if you wish to transfer a domain name to them.

But no where on their site can I find any info on how to dump them, and if their is a tranfer fee to transfer my domain name to somebody else.

Any Info?

You dump them by initating a transfer from the NEW registrar. This is how all domain transfers work.

They do not charge a fee.

You need to remove the registrar-lock before initiating the transfer. You will get one or more confirming emails, which you may or may not have to respond-to. (Read them carefully.)

My registrar tried to sting me with a £49 admin fee. But i'm not suprised. They are absolute gangsters.

On the side, they do indicate how to transfer out. It's in their policies, transfer policy to be exact. ;)

And as jtara said, they don't charge for moving out. Unlock the domain first, make sure admin email on record's good, etc.
