I own Brand.tld and I own ExtremelyCommonSearchPhrase.tld. The search phrase is three words long and is searched for in the exact form that the domain is registered in.
Currently ExtremelyCommonSearchPhrase.tld is forwarded to a special landing page at Brand.tld/ExtremelyCommonSearchPhrase.html through GoDaddy's control panel.
ExtremelyCommonSearchPhrase.tld does generate a small amount of well converting type in traffic but does not generate any SE traffic. I'm not trying to make a network of mini-sites to gain in bound links, I just want to get the most out of my content for SE ranking with either ExtremelyCommonSearchPhrase.tld or Brand.tld/ExtremelyCommonSearchPhrase.html.
Would there be an advantage to removing the page with content from Brand.tld and placing it on ExtremelyCommonSearchPhrase.tld as it's own mini-website where the key words are in the domain name instead of forwarding to Brand.tld where the key words are in the file name?
Do you have any other suggestions for maximizing ExtremelyCommonSearchPhrase.tld?
