widgets-for-sale.com Vs widgetsonsale.com - legalities

domain tradmark issues

I operate a site "widgetsonsale.co.uk", however there is another long-standing website "widgets-for-sale.co.uk".

Both these websites are direct competitors and after the same search engine traffic ("widgets for sale") and business.

Are the website names sufficiently similar for the rival website to take legal action against me, or is the term too generic?

Located in UK.

I would appreciate your comments.

Is widget a general word like "search" or a trademarked term like "google"
