Domain Parking and the Like

I am looking for a domain parking solution or something similar, whereby I can have sponsored results presented on a webpage with otherwise no content. I do not have the 750k monthly page views required by Google and was told by Yahoo that they do not offer a domain parking product (although I have seen domains populated with strictly Overture listings), and so I was wondering if there are other providers of the service out there, preferably a non-third party provider (i.e. DomainSponsor) which takes half of your revenue share. The only other provider I am currently aware of is Kanoodle - do you have any thoughts on their service and average PPC relative to Google and Overture, or if there is a "view bids tool" similar to Overture's where I can see the bids?

Also, is it possible to present a page of sponsored listings for multiple pages on a single domain, or is an individual domain required for every page when using a domain parking solution.

I have used Trafficz.com.

I have also come across (but not used) a site that splits your type-in traffic between two different parking providers. You can then monitor the results over a fixed period (say a month or so) and see which one performs the best.

www.spliturl.com

(You'll need to provide the domain fowarding addresses from the parking providers not the name servers for this service - your parking providers will be able to suppy this to you)

Sedo.com is pretty good, I've used them for more then a year with a small portfolio.

I have used quite a few of the parking services out there: Sedo, Afternic, DomainSpa, Skenzo, GoldKey, ParkingSite, TrafficClub, and several others I can't even remember. Some of the others I know about are DomainSponsor, Fabulous, NameDrive, TrafficParking, TrafficZ.

The best services allow you to enter your own keywords, give you at least 50-75% of the earnings, have a good relationship with the major PPC feed providers (Google, Yahoo, MSN) so you get the highest per-click earnings, give you easy-to-use management tools and reports, provide fast and pleasant customer service, and pay on time.

Thanks for the input everyone. I have been experimenting with Kanoodle, which I decided to go with initially because they owned their own ad network and so the revenue was only split once, but the links don't seem to be that relevant. Ideally, I would like to have Overture or Google links, but I don't have the 750k monthly page views required by Google. Does anyone have any opinion between using a provider such as Kanoodle versus a third-party provider with an agreement to show Overture or Google listings? Are CPCs comparable with the third-party providers even after the second revenue share because they are higher initially on Overture and Google than they are on MIVA or Kanoodle?

Folks - let's keep the posts in this thread - and any future threads - as factual as possible.

Please keep the contents as far as possible away from voting posts such as "they're the best" or personal hierarchical ratings.

Just the facts - the ones, as Ogden Nash once said, "you can look it up": Identify feed providers, the range of revenue shares, what you can do with the interface, how you can modify or optimize the landers, and other helpful or insightful facts such as those mentioned.

Thanks very much for your contributions to the general education of us all.

I've been using Name Drive for about a month now, and am very pleased with their program. You can set your categories, sub-categories and keywords (a major plus for me), select a subject-based, visually appealing banner and customize your landing page look better than some of the others I've used.

With regards to your portfolio, you can view your stats in a variety of formats, as well as view geographical traffic by continent. And when there were two days when my traffic was out of the norm, I got an immediate response from tech, with a detailed explanation. And the problem was fixed.

I'm still using other services with a variety of domains in order to find that best ROI, but I keep the bulk of mine at Name Drive.

My two cents.

amjoe, Looking at it from another perspective: Is your ultimate goal to make money from the domain using a domain parking program, or is this just a temporary solution until you have enough content ready to put up a real website?

In the latter case you might think twice before participating in a domain parking program, because it might cause old backlinks in Google to be invalidated if the domain was used for a popular website in the past. If you are planning to put up a website in a few months, rather leave the domain alone and develop your site. Existing backlinks which are not invalidated can make a huge difference in the start of a new website and revenue earned that way can easily be more than the money you get from a temporary parking program.
