.US restrictions

Hi, what are the restrictions on buying a .US domain name exactly?

I am in the UK

My host let me buy one, their software has 3 questions.

US resident
US business
overseas business with US interests

So I picked option 3 and their software let me buy one.

Is this correct?

Basically you just gotta prove you have a "bonafide US presence". In laypersons' speak, you gotta have a US-based address and "prove" you're using it.
